1- GROUP SESSIONS FOR EVERYONE
"WALK & PUSH UP HILL" GROUP SESSION
This is a new class which is opened to all levels. It combines cardio and some toning. Alternating periods of fast walking and periods of recovery (Everyone can adapt to her/his personal level, even run). Going up hill automatically increases your heart rate so you will anyway be pushing yourself naturally more than on a flat terrain. We also do some toning stations on the way (squats, triceps dips, push-ups and others), some deep breathing times that can be taken as meditative moments, and finishing with good stretching.
For who: Everyone (unless unsuitable medical conditions)
When: On Thursdays 9.30 am.
Location: The Port Hills (Opawa, St-Martins, Cashemere Areas)

"INTENSE CARDIO" GROUP SESSION
A class to improve your performance and boost your metabolism using HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) you can adjust the intesity to your current level of fitness.
For who: intermediate to advance levels (unless unsuitable medical condition)
Location: Opawa Area.

What's HIIT : A workout which improves speed and endurance, it alternates short, high intensity bursts of speed with slower, recovery phases throughout a single workout. This type of workout increases fitness and burns more calories over a short period of time than a longer cardio workout at moderate intensity.
"TONING & FLEXIBILITY" GROUP SESSION
A class to tone-up and improve flexibility finishing with good stretching.
For Who: everyone (beginners included unless unsuitable medical condions)
When: Fridays 9.30 pm.
Location: Opawa Area.

Joining these groups session is a great way to (re-)connect with the outdoor sports, with yourself, the others and also a great way to improve your level of fitness whether you are a beginner or an already fit person. You will adapt the intensity of the exercises to your current level or to your form of the day. You can work hard or take it easy if that's what you need but in all cases you'll have good fun and feel really relaxed and happy after the class. Do not hesitate to come and join us even if it can't be on a regular basis -just feel free to come any times it suits you. But please let me know beforehand.

As a Mobile Personal Trainer I can meet you at the place of your choice, whether that is your home, workplace or a local park. Being in your favorite environment will no doubt maximise the benefits of your session.
I OFFER 2 TYPES OF SESSIONS:
THE PRIVATE GROUP SESSION is based on a group of 6 people maximum, of a similar level and similar aims, who will work and progress together on a shared program. Feel free to create your own group from your personal network - share the fun and the cost!
THE ONE ON ONE SESSION which is by far the best choice for beginners and for those who want to get tangible results faster. This will ensure that you will get the individual attention required to quickly improve your skills, and achieve your goals in the shortest possible time.
I USE 4 TECHNICS combine together in deferent proportions depending on your personal needs, goals and ability :
STRENGTH TRAINING : is a type of non-aerobic work focusing on muscle-toning and core strength and as one of the benefit it lowers the risk of bone loss (will help to prevent osteoporosis). This practice will firm-up your body, the exercises are simple and very efficient and will be accomplished with simple equipment like gym bands and hand weights adapted to your level or with your body weight.
ENDURANCE : an aerobic workout is the best way to lose weight and improve your metabolism. It has to be performed at a moderate level of intensity over a relativity long period of time, for example : running for more than 10 minutes will use the aerobic metabolism and will help to reduce the fat mass on the body.
The main benefiits of endurance training are :
* Strengthening the muscles involved in respiration
* Strengthening and enlarges the heart muscle
* Improving circulation efficiency and reduces blood pressure
* Improving mental health, reduces stress and lowers the incidence of depression.
* Reducing the risk of diabetes (type 2)
As result it reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases, and will help to reduce the osteoporosis issues stimulating bones growth.
